Who am I?
I’ve been a semi-professional booze writer. Yes, it’s as cool as it sounds.
My big break came when I published The Whisky Cabinet and it grew to be a best seller on Amazon. I publish whisky reviews on whisky.buzz and co-host The Whisky Topic podcast. Beyond that, I have a pretty good palate and judge whisky competitions (side-note: someone has to award gold/silver/bronze medals to whisky!). Whenever we get out of this COVID mess, I’ll be returning to my usual boozy travels that take me to strange places. I’ll be covering that here!
Outside of that, I’m a father of three-year-old twins, husband to a teacher, and pet owner of twin collies. We make this work in a downtown Toronto condo.
How did I end up here? Some luck, some talent, and mostly because I followed my interests down the rabbit hole.
